Image mosaic is an important branch in the field of image processing. This paper designs and realizes an image mosaic technique based on the information of edge. The technology is suitable for engineering application. First of all
two images of the adjoining frames are processed by convolution operation
get the edge images. And then we cut edge image into pieces and compute their spatial frequency. According to the value of the spatial frequency select reasonable registration model group. We compute correlation strength and the value of movement offset which are the model group and the current frame edge image. We can complete image mosaic by them. We use video sequence which of the resolution is 1024 * 768 do the experiment. The results show that the method has good effect and strong adaptability. Algorithm is high efficiency which running time is 24 ms. It is suitable for real-time processing requirements of the application. This method is an effective mosaic technique which is suitable for engineering application. 2012 IEEE.

Considering the pointing deviation delay in the TV tracker
which heavily worsens the tracking precision
here we offer an improved Kalman filter algorithm to compensate the delay. The output speed from the filter is fed forward to the speed loop for the compound control to increase the speed constant. The simulation results based on the experiment data show that the method can effectively estimate the position
consequently the speed and accelerate and the tracking precision is improved. The estimation precision of the speed and accelerate depend on that if the state model is coherent with the movement of the real target. 2010 IEEE.

In the transportation monitor system
we set up the area of interest (AOI) of the vehicle model and adjust the size of AOI dynamically in order to track vehicle accurately. The results of experiment show that

In order to realize real-time auto-focusing for theodolite
lens-apart method was designed with the corresponding math model built and analyzed. An Object beam splitted after the first image surface of the theodolite traveled through two dialyte lens and then was imaged on CCD. The distance between two spots when exactly focused was set as the calibration value
and the relationship between defocus distance and spot offset was given. The influence of tracking center shift and divergence angle etc. on focusing accuracy was analyzed. Compared with the traditional focusing method
this scheme has a higher accuracy
faster calculation
higher tolerance for environment temperature and a simpler construction. The experiment result exhibited a resolution higher than 0.056mm

Optimizing the control mode of optical payload could improve the payload's work efficiency. When the mathematic model of payload's control mode was established
optimization problems could be boiled down to seek the maximal value of the function with many variables. This paper put forward a calculational method to base the mathematic model
the calculational method was multi-population genetic algorithm (MPGA). After the 0-1 variables and real multidimensional ones had been coded separately
the algorithm established the populations independently
made the multidimensional variables as the centrosome and combined 0-1 ones to work out the maximal value of the function which was established to describe the control mode of the optical payload. Moreover
the emulational experiment had been done with the material arithmetic operators. The result indicates that the method using MPGA can hurdle the disadvantage of traditional ones which calculate slowly and get into local best value trap easily . It has the characters that not only fits large scale area scout
but also gets the best value in full scale rapidly
so this algorithm can better satisfy the technology demand for the intelligent control of optical payload. 2009 IEEE.
