In this paper  we proposed a novel coding scheme is proposed using wavelet-based CS framework for nature image. First  two-dimension discrete wavelet transform (DWT) is applied to a nature image for sparse representation. After multi-scale DWT  the low-frequency sub-band and high-frequency sub-bands are re-sampled separately. According to the statistical dependences among DWT coefficients  we allocate different measurements to low- and high-frequency component. Then  the measurements samples can be quantized. The quantize samples are entropy coded and forward correct coding (FEC). Finally  the compressed streams are transmitted. At the decoder  one can simply reconstruct the image via l1 minimization. Experimental results show that the proposed wavelet-based CS scheme achieves better compression performance against the relevant existing solutions.

According to the area CCD camera of characteristics  such as high resolution capacity and high frame frequency  this paper puts forward a high speed and parallel image compression system of high integration degree. Firstly  according to the work principle of the area CCD  FPGA is adopted to realize the timing driving and multichannel and parallel analog signal handling to raise the export frame frequency of the area CCD. Secondly  with an image compression scheme based on FPGA embedded processor MicroBlaze and ADV212 compression chip  real time image compression and the high speed area CCD are realized. Finally  by detecting the analog signal of the area CCD output  the real time compression of the big area CCD image is carried out in different compression ratios and the compression performance is analyzed. Experiment result shows that this scheme can realize real time image compression with the biggest data rate of 520Mbps. When compression bit ratio is 0.15  the signal-to-noise ratio of peak value can reach 36 dB. Image collection and image compression are integrated  which reduces the data transmission between them and improves systematic integration degree.

La62Al14Cu12Ni12BMG is introduced as a substitute for silicon which was widely used as mold material for nanofabrication. For the purpose of precise microstructure replication and complete filling  effects of various imprint parameters  including imprint temperature  imprint time and compression load  on formability of La 62Al14Cu12Ni12BMG are studied and discussed. Scanning electron microscope images and results of thermal analysis are used to characterize the filling effect of La62Al 14Cu12Ni12BMG. In particular  correlations between time and thermodynamic properties are presented. Despite of its high viscosity at crystallization temperature and its narrow supercooled liquid region  La62Al14Cu12Ni12BMG is proved to be a durable and promising material which can precisely replicate the patterns of silicon mold and then transfer its own patterns on Ce 69Al10Cu20Co1BMG and PMMA. 2012 Elsevier B.V. For the limitation of data transmission bandwidth and real time transmission demand  generally image compression is required to implement the precise and flexible rate control algorithm. Rate control is an important issue in the image compression field. This paper considers the problem of rate allocation to each encoded segment for CCSDS image compression. One straightforward method is to allocate an equal amount of rate to each segment based on the average of the total number of compressed bytes. The obvious drawback of this method is that different segment will be reconstructed to different quality  so the overall quality of the reconstructed image will not be optimized. For the shortage of the original rate control method  as to improve the overall quality of the reconstructed image  an improved rate control algorithm is proposed for CCSDS image encoding. The key component of the proposed rate control method is the appropriate rate allocation. Experiments on the test images show that the PSNR can be increased at about 0.3dB on average  compared to the original algorithm. Therefore  experimental results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm in terms of objective evaluation  and the rate-distortion performance of the reconstructed image is improved. 2011 IEEE.
