Image motion compensation is significantly important for aerial camera photograph. To execute the compensation
we must determine the image motion exactly. This paper proposes a method of real-time image motion measurement for panoramic aerial cameras based on image processing using a hybrid system. Two cameras are simultaneously used in the hybrid system. One main linear CCD for imaging
while the other auxiliary low resolution high frame rate area CCD for determining the image motion based on 2D spatial correlation. The demanding computational requirements for the real-time 2D spatial correlation are covered by a joint transform optical correlator. Simulation test results show that the accuracy is improved and the measurement error is within 0.2 pixels for input images with SNR=1 dB. 2010 IEEE.

In the field of remote sensing imaging
TDICCD remote sensing images have a lot of their own characteristics
such as high-resolution
large amount of information
less overlapping parts of pixels
additional image blurring etc. Therefore
there exist many difficulties
especially in terms of high-accuracy registration of pairs of images. For that
this paper presents two new pixel interpolation method for sub-pixel level registering images that allows for scaling
translation and rotation. The proposed technique
which is based on the maximization of the correlation coefficient function
combines an efficient pixel-moving interpolation scheme with surface fitting
which greatly reduces the overall computational cost. The accuracy of the algorithm is evaluated by calculating correlation coefficient of couples of points belonging to images transformed with preset factors and also comparing it to other sorts of methods. The experiment results show that the accuracy of registration reaches 0.01 pixels. 2010 IEEE.

In order to obtain three-dimensional observation effect with single satellite borne time delay and integrate charge coupled device (TDI-CCD)
pitching imaging is required. More accurate real-time image motion velocity vector computational model of space camera is also necessary to make the imaging perfect. Imaging motion velocity vector computation model must be set up on image plane at pitching imaging. According to the geometric relationship between the pitching imaging space camera and the Earth's rotation motion
satellite borne TDI CCD pitching imaging motion velocity vector model is derived by mapping the ground speed to the image plane and using coordinate transformation method. The numerical simulation results show that the image velocity model can reduce deviation angle error about 33' and about 30% image motion speed error compared to traditional ground velocity model. 2009 IEEE.

The geometric distortion of infrared image
which was created by the large-sized relative aperture optical system. It could be corrected by the digital image processing technology. The magnitude of distortion would be enlarged quickly with the enlargement of relative aperture. Though the distortion could not impact on the articulation of the image
it would affect geometric location precision of the image directly. In this paper
the distortion correction of uncooled large-sized relative aperture infrared imaging system was discussed and the mathematical model of distortion correction was established. A algorithm of digital image processing was presented and applied based on control points by combining polynomial warping and space variant linear image interpolation. The method of polynomial warping was used to establish the locality relationship between the original image and the distortion ones. The space-variant linear image interpolation provided an efficient way to rebuild the frame of images. The computational costs of the proposed approach are very little and the precision is almost as high as the method of bicubic interpolation when compared to those of state-of-the-art nonlinear interpolation operators.
