英文摘要	A summing algorithm is to evaluate and sum up a set of function samples. The paper [J. Phys. A. 35, L597(2001)] presented a new summing algorithm using ensemble computing which results in an exponential speedup. Here, we experimentally implemented the new algorithm on a four-qubit liquid state nuclear magnetic resonance ensemble system. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
