中文摘要Axial pressure and solid volume fraction profiles of a semi-industrial circulating fluidized bed (CFB) with the same diameter (411 mm of riser) but two different heights of 8.5 m and 10.8 m respectively are investigated in this paper. By evaluating an extensive database (Herbert, 1999) covering the experimental data collected from 1991 similar to 1999 at Institute of Process Engineering, ETH Zurich, and from 2002 similar to 2004 at Institute of Process Engineering, CAS Beijing, it may be concluded that the axial profiles of pressure and solid volume fraction in a CFB riser with different heights are always approximately similar even in bottom acceleration and top deceleration regions, if the gas-solid two-phase flow system has equal or close particle Froude number (Fr-p), as proposed by Shi (1996). Increasing the height has little effect on both the axial pressure and solid volume fraction distributions, except elongating the profiles. For high particle Froude number (Fr-p), a C-shaped distribution of solids volume fraction (im) becomes more pronounced due to stronger reflex of solids from the deceleration zone at top of the riser.
