英文摘要	The sliding debris flow means a movement process beginning with a landslide and ending with a debris flow. Because they occur together and transform quickly, it is difficult to distinguish definitely one from the other. This debris flow belongs to the type of debris flow which is of short-duration and highcreeping with a high velocity and a great density. Wintin a few minutes it can remove hundreds of thousand or even more than ten million of solid material. It carries stones of different size at the rate of a tons of tens per second. Its great destruction is attributed to the shock wave equal to a typhoon of 11 or 12 magnitude besides the debris flow body itself. The cause and properties of this kind of debris flow are illustrated by two example in Yunnan and Sichuan.
