英文摘要The topography of stratification is developed widely in the plateau of West Sichuan. In this paper, it was discussed from three aspects, namely, ( 1 ) surface of planation; ( 2 ) surface of denudatipn; (3) terrace. They are distributed successively from the top of plateau to valley.1. The surface of planation that was formed in the Eocene Epoch to the Oligocene Epoch does be the surface of plateau itself in the plateau of West Sichuan. Its altitude is nearly 4000 -5000 m.2. The surfaces of denudation that located on 400 -600 m and 800-1000 m nearly from water level in main valleys were formed in the Miocene Epoch and the Pliocene Epoch.3. There are five terraces almost always in the valleys. According to analysis,the fourth and the fifth terraces were formed in the Lowerpleistocene Epoch, the third terrace was formed in the Middlepleistocene Epoch,and the second and the first terraces were formed in the Upperpleistocene Epoch.The feature of neostructural movement is intermittent uplift of the large area in the plateau of West Sichuan. The most of theancient drainage systems were bifurcate in the beginning of Neogene Period. Then, under the influence of the east-westward structural uplift, one forking river of the both had been lost, and the present drainage system has been begun to form.
