中文摘要 | 目前常用的平均粒径计算方法仅以颗粒重量为权重,不能表示粗细颗粒在流体中的不同作用,且计算时必须采用Φ粒径,存在着某些不足。文中提出了新的计算方法,即等体积等面积粒径计算法,这种平均粒径具有与颗粒等体积与等面积的物理特性,它更全面更综合地表达了泥沙颗粒的特性。 |
英文摘要 | Mean sediment size is an important parameter expressing the characteristics of grains. Current several calculation methods of mean sediment size almost have some inadequacies: 1). merely considering the weight of grains and disregarding other aspects of grain; 2). not showing the different actions of coarse and fine particles in fluid; 3). When calculating, only Φ unit scale is applied, and Φ scale has no physical and mechanical significance. For improving calculation method a new way named EQUAL VOLUME AND EQUAL SURFACE METHOD is proposed. The mean size D vs gained with this way is defined as follows: supposing the sample is substituted by homogeneous particles having the particle size of D vs , the mineral composition, total weight and total volume of the substitute are the same as those of the sample, and their surface areas are also equal to the tolal surface areas of all particles of the sample, then D vs is called the equal volume and surface size of the sample. This method not only expresses the weight and surface action of grains, but also reflects the different effects of fine and coarse particles. In addition, it has clear physical concept and can be gotten easy. We also give some examples adopted this method in this paper. From these instants we could better explain various debris flow phenomena and obtain more satisfactory results than applying other methods. We believe that this method not only can be applied in debris flow, but also would be used in other fields, such as civil engineering, pipe material transport, agriculture, geograph and geology, etc. |
