猪苓[Polyporus umbellatus（Pers）Fr]是我国传统的药用植物，其对土壤生长环境要求严格。研究了猪苓生长的土壤理化特性及生物活性，结果，猪苓土壤具有土层深厚、水分充足、质地良好的物理特性以及具弱酸性、富有机质、富矿质养分的化学特性，且微生物活动频繁。良好的土壤为猪苓的生长提供了很好地物质条件，保证了猪苓的药用价值。

Polyporus umbellatus is a plant for medical use and its growth requires very strict soil and ecological condition. The soil characteristics for the growth of Ployporus umbellatus was studied and the results showed that the soil in which P. unbellatus grew well had adequate water, thick layer, low acidity and good textue, and rich in organic matter, mineral nutrients and diversity of microbial activity. The fine natural soil condition for the growth and development of P. umbellatus is the guarantee of its medical value.
