英文摘要The dome seeing is an important influencing factor for imaging quality of ground-based large-aperture telescopes. Seeing is mainly due to the uneven change in the refractive index of air. Firsttheoretical analysis shows that the main factors affecting the refractive index of air are the temperaturevelocityand pressure of the air. Thenwith the help of CFD fluid simulation softwarethe temperature fieldvelocity fieldand pressure field changes of the air near the telescope dome are obtainedand the change of the refractive index of the air around the dome and telescope is calculated. Thusthe effect of dome seeing produced by domes of different structural forms on telescopic imaging can be evaluated. The simulation analysis shows that the lifting dome is more conducive to the rapid change and stability of the temperaturespeedand pressure of the air around the telescope to reduce the impact of dome seeing. From the perspective of dome seeingthis paper provides a guide for the scheme selection and design of a dome at the 4-meter level and larger telescopes. 2022 Chinese Academy of Sciences.
