英文摘要	《史记·孔子世家》中所载“孔子适郑”一段，有“郑人”对孔子“形状”的描述，用尧、皋陶、子产、禹作类比。在典籍对于孔子体貌的种种说法中是较早的一种，描述方式也很奇特。对于这则材料，至今尚无专门、详细的研究。依据传世文献和古文字材料，对这四句话详加考辨，可知这些描述都是附会自某些与孔子有关的信息，而将这些信息与传说中尧、禹等人的体貌特征联系在一起，是对孔子形象的神秘化。这样做的目的是对孔子的圣而不遇给出一个神秘主义的解释。; There is a description of Confucius’ physical characteristics in the Confucius Biography of the Historical Records.
