英文摘要Of late multifunctional graphene has proved to be an outstanding reinforcement for the metal matrix composites (MMCG). However, how to disperse the graphene uniformly and retain its structure integrity in the metal matrix is so challenging and crucial to the performance of MMCGs. This work designed a novel, single-step and cost-effective route based on a magnesiothermic reaction, which constructs a core–shell structure with sphere Ti core and graphene shell, to solve this problem perfectly. This route also provides a new strategy to obtain high-performance metal@graphene core–shell material that widely used in mechanical components, catalytic and electronic industries, etc. © 2018 Elsevier B.V.
