英文摘要Three kinds of alkylimidazolium phosphate ionic liquids (ILs) with different alkyl-chain length of cations are synthesized and their friction-reducing and antiwear properties for steel/steel sliding pairs are enhanced with the increasing of the alkyl-chain length. The lubricating mechanism can be attributed to two aspects: on the one hand, the contact electrical resistance (ECR), corrosion, electrochemical test results reveal that ILs with longer alkyl-chains exhibit better adsorption ability; on the other hand, the XPS and EDS analysis results of wear scars indicate that the active elements (such as N and P) are more liable to have tribochemical reactions with the substrate surfaces and forming more tough tribochemical films. © 2019
