英文摘要Polypyrrole/attapulgite (PPy/ATP) composite material was synthesized by in-situ polymerization using ferric chloride (FeCl3) as oxidant. Infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were used to characterize the composite material. The adsorptive property for Ni(II),Cr(VI) in water was investigated. The main factors of impacting the adsorption rate, thermodynamic properties and adsorption isotherms of Ni(II) and Cr(VI) on the composite were analyzed. The results show that the adsorptive property of the composite materials on Cr(VI) is obviously better than that on Ni(II). The optimum conditions are found to be m(py):m(ATP) of 1:1, PPy/ATP mass of 0.06 g, contact time of 1h. The thermodynamics of Cr(VI) ion adsorption on the composites follows the isothermal adsorption equations of Langmuir, while the thermodynamics of Ni(II) ion can be described by the Freundlich equations. The maximum theoretical adsorption capacity of Cr(VI) is found to be 139.41 mg/g, based on the non-linear Langmuir isotherm. SEM photos exhibit that composites still maintain rod-like structure and ATP surface is covered by PPy particles.
