英文摘要 | It is important to study the changing regularity of the sidewall surface topography of non-uniform scroll teeth and its characterization for assessing the machining quality of the scrolls. In this study, the sidewall surface topography of scroll teeth samples made of different materials is measured by Talysurf CLI1000. After analyzing and comparing three-dimensional topography image, the frequency-spatial distribution of the samples topogra-phy is quantitatively characterized by both one dimensional and two-dimensional power spectral density method. Three-dimensional topography analysis shows that the scroll teeth topography of steel45 is relatively smooth and regular, and its variation is larger than that of duralumin7075;there is no obvious relationship between scroll profile and surface topography. Results from two-dimensional power spectral analysis indicate that the scroll teeth topography is anisotropy, and the dominated spatial frequency of x direction is 0~0.02 μm-1, which signifi-409 cantly affects the surface topography of the scroll teeth. Main defects on the scroll teeth exist within the space wavelength of 50 μm. One dimensional power spectral analysis further explains the phenomenon that the scroll teeth topography of scroll samples is rather different although the surface roughness is similar. This study imple-ments effective description and quantative analysis of scroll surface topography in different levels. © 2022, Editorial Department of JVMD. All right reserved. |
