英文摘要Calculation and analysis on the internal flow in a boiler-feeding-water pump powered by a gas-turbine used in the supercritical unit in a power plant was carried out using the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) approach by means of a parallel computer. The results show, compared with the internal flow in a single-stage centrifugal pump, that some special phenomena are found in the flow channels in the boiler-feeding-water pump, the internal flow in the pump is complicated with obvious flow characteristics. There is large variation of the pressure in the near-wall zones of the internal case compared with that of the external one; The pressure distribution is clearly asymmetrical in the flow channel between the cases, which enlarges the force of the cases; The high pressure and velocity regions with large area found near the exit of the impeller in the flow passages in the ones; The vortex flow exists in the suction chambers from the first stage to the sixth one. These features will provide the evidence for the improvement of the pump, which will improve the efficiency of the unit, furthermore, it can optimize the utilization of coal in the supercritical unit in a power plant. © 2013 IEEE.
