英文摘要To study the effect on hydraulic performance of Serial-Parallel Centrifugal Pumps (SPCP) is caused by the non-uniform flow. In fact, the motor of the pump is easily burnout when the pump is working by large flowing capacity and high head. The paper adopted by the velocity triangle theory, the computational formula of the max shaft power and the corresponding flows of the Single- Stage Model Pumps (SSMP) is deduced under the condition of non-uniform flow. The flow deviations angles (γ) are firstly introduced in the blades inlet and outlet of the pumps. And they are extended in the SPCP in two different working statuses: series status and parallel status. Based on the computational fluid dynamics (CFD), the internal flow fields of the pumps are gained. The results show that under the planned working condition, the head errors and power errors are both kept within 5% and the correctness of numerical simulation results is identified. By comparing the values of γ in different working conditions, it can be found that the non-uniform flow in serial working status is more obvious than that in parallel working status.
