英文摘要0Cr18Ni9 stainless steel were siliconized at 900°C in molten salts with equal mol ratio of Na2SiF6 and Si as siliconizing agent and the molten halogenide of alkali metals of NaCl+KCl+NaF as siliconizing agent carrier. The phase of the silicide layer was analyzed by X-ray diffraction. The microstructure and phases of the silicide layer were studied by scanning electron microscope equipped with energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer(EDS). The siliconizing mechanism in molten salts was discussed. It is shown that the thickness of the silicide layer is more than 250 μm after siliconizing at 900°C for 3 h. The phase of the silicide layer is Fe3Si type intermetallic compound rich in Cr and Ni alloying elements. The content of Si in the layer is 6.75 wt%. The amount of Cr in the layer is about half of that in the matrix, while the amount of Ni in the layer is similar as that in the matrix. The surface of the silicide layer is compact with hardness of 700 HV, which is much higher than the matrix hardness of 200 HV.
