英文摘要	Mobile sign language communication system operates under limited power supply and transmission bandwidth. In this paper, we establish comprehensive power-rate-distortion (P-R-D) models for sign language video encoding and transmission. Based on these models, we solve the problem of how to allocate the available power of the mobile sign language video communication system between video encoder module and wireless transmission module to achieve the optimal reconstructed video quality under the constraints of power and bandwidth. © 2015 ICIC International.
