英文摘要	In this paper, a two-dimensional line contact problem of a rigid flat punch with sharp square corner indenting on an elastic half space with surface tension is investigated. In the classical contact, stress exists singularity at the contact edge, which reaches a theoretically negative infinite value. When the effect of the surface tension is considered, the singularity of stress and the slope of displacement disappear with the width of punch reduce to nanosize.
