英文摘要	A nondestructive procedure was proposed in the paper to determine the welding residual stresses with the aid of the boundary integral equation and its discrete form-the boundary element method, in which the displacements measured at the boundaries or the welding deformations of the welded structures were taken as the known boundary conditions. Its feasibility was verified in two-dimensional cases, by comparing the results of the residual stresses calculated with those measured from several typical welding test plates using the mechanical stress release method.
