Two close species of the extinct family Procercopidae,Procercopina linisp. nov., andProcercopina daohugouensissp. nov., are described and illustrated from the Middle-Upper Jurassic Daohugou beds, Inner Mongolia, northeastern China.ProcercopinaMartynov, 1937 as one of the early representative of procercopids, includes five species confined to the Lower Jurassic of Eurasia. The taxonomic position ofProcercopinawithin Procercopidae and its relationship with other genera are discussed. The new discovery represents the latest record ofProcercopinaand the first record in Yanliao biota of northeastern China, indicating this genus is widely distributed in Eurasia during the Jurassic.P.linirepresents the first whole-bodied fossil amongProcercopina, providing valuable information of the morphological features of this genus.
