英文摘要Pure phase ALON powder was synthesized using micro-sized Al powder and nano-sized Al2O3 powder as raw materials, which were milled in the nitrogen atmosphere and then calcined in flowing nitrogen. The pure phase ALON powder was supposed to be synthesized completely under appropriate conditions, such as temperature and holding-time. For the excessive AIN produced, the ratio of Al in the starting materials should be controlled strictly. Meanwhile, the effects of the temperature, holding-time and the ratio of Al on the purity of the powder were studied by the XRD analysis. Microstructure of the product was observed with the TEM. The results showed that adjusting the ratio of Al powder to 10wt%, and calcining the starting materials at 1800 degrees C for 3 h, ALON powder with pure phase could be obtained.
