英文摘要 | The interactions between neoplasm and the host immune system are complex and dynamic. Scientists are trying to find out the mechanisms of their interactions and hoping to improve the status of tumor therapy. Correspondingly, Cancer immunotherapy has become a popular research area of Pharmaceutical Industry. Amongst the numerous mediators contributing to cancer-immunity cycle, the enzyme indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase-1 (IDO-1) has recently attracted special attention. In this article we reviewed advance of IDO-1 from the aspects of physiological function, abnormalities in tumor tissues and drug development status. |
