英文摘要	PURPOSE:To prevent flow of overcurrent to a semiconductor and to prevent the breakdown of a laser by changing the digital value input of a D/A converter circuit used for controlling the quantity of light of the semiconductor laser from lower bits in the case of changing said input. CONSTITUTION:The lower port groups are first stipulated if the input data of the D/A converter is across >=2 port groups. Stipulation of the port D first, then the port F takes place in the case of a shift from a state 43 to a state 44 and, therefore, XA makes the change 80x) FFx) 7Fx) and the state attaining FFx) exists in the output of XA. The input of the D/A converter which is FFx) is the input to control the current Il to minimize the same so that the quantity of the light of the laser is minimized and the breakdown of the laser is absolutely averted. The lower port groups (BIT) are, therefore, required to be stipulated first if the input data of the D/A converter is determined by using a microcomputer.
