英文摘要	PURPOSE:To obtain an optical guide device in which a light source wavelength can be stabilized to a designing wavelength inexpensively without reducing a light utility efficiency by providing a grating for reflecting part of a guided light having a predetermined wavelength to the upstream side of a light propagating direction by light propagating direction converting means on an optical guide to return it to a semiconductor laser and passing the residual guided light. CONSTITUTION:A light emitted from a semiconductor laser 1 is introduced to a guide layer 2 to be propagated while diverging. A predetermined ratio of guide light of the guided light having a wavelength for satisfying primary Bragg's condition is returned to a laser chip 2, and the remaining guide light is transmitted in the direction of an FGC 6. Then, the light which arrives at the FGC 6 is projected toward an optical disk 7, and condensed on the surface of the disk. Thereafter, the reflected light from the disk 7 is introduced to the layer 2, and detected by a photodetector.
