英文摘要	PURPOSE:To obtain a stable high quality image in wide temperature and atmosphere ranges by controlling the energy of output light from a semiconductor laser in accordance with the temperature that a temperature detection mechanism detects. CONSTITUTION:An optical sensor 2 always monitors the output of laser beam from the semiconductor laser 5 projected on a selenium photosensitive body 8. A temperature sensor 1 detects the temperature of the photosensitive body 8. An arithmetic unit 3 processes these detected results, and decides the current that is conducted to the laser 5 from a current supply source 4. The operation control method is that where the light detection value and the detection temperature are P and T( deg.C), respectively, the arithmetic unit 3 executes P0=a-bT [(a) and (b) are positive constants determined by the photosensitive body and the system] and decides the current which is conducted to the laser 5 so that the detection value P of the sensor 2 can be P0.
