英文摘要A ship to land communication system using 850 nm VCSEL(Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser) is provided to easily realize material supply and demand and a maintenance task related to a ship to land optical communication system. A ship to land communication system using 850 nm VCSEL(Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser) comprises an optical terminal block(1), an optical transmitter(2), an optical receiver(3), a data exchange unit(4), a multiplexing unit(5), a transmission unit(6), a receive unit(7), a data interface unit(8), a hotphone interface unit(9), a telephone interface unit(10), a terminal block(11) and a controller(12). The optical terminal block(1) has a connector for connecting an optical cable to a communication device and makes it possible to perform a physical optical connection between an LNG ship and an LNG terminal. The optical transmitter(2) converts data/voice tel signal, to be multiplexed by the LNG ship and the LNG terminal, into optical signals, and transmits the converted optical signals to the optical receiver(3). The optical receiver(3) receives the optical signals from the optical transmitter(2) and converts the optical signals into optical signals which can be recognized by the LNG ship and the LNG terminal. The data exchange unit(4) connects the optical signals to a data/voice unit and an ESD(Electro Static Discharge) unit installed at the LNG ship and the LNG terminal. The multiplexing unit(5) multiplexes the data/voice tel signals with regard to the LNG ship and the LNG terminal. The transmission unit(6) processes the data/voice signals to be transmitted the LNG ship and the LNG terminal. The receive unit(7) processes the data/voice tel signals inputted in the LNG ship and the LNG terminal. The data interface unit(8) communicates signals with a data signal processor of the LNG ship and the LNG terminal. The hotphone interface unit(9) makes a hotphone of the LNG ship communicate with that of the LNG terminal. The telephone interface unit(10) makes a public/PABX phone of the LNG ship communicate with that of the LNG terminal. The terminal block(11) includes each kind of terminal for easily wiring the cable connected to plural external devices. The controller(12) controls a function of each component smoothly and without collision.
