英文摘要The problem how to detect orbit maneuver in artificial satellites using Doppler measurements, is studied in this paper. To test whether there is such a maneuver on Day 1, we propose an equal-variance test on the post-residuals, for such an event on Day 2 or Day 3, we give another algorithm using predicted residuals. The calculations show that the algorithms can reliably detect any change in the semi-major axis greater than 3 metres when the standard error of the Doppler measurement is 0.2 cm/s.
