英文摘要	The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for measuring power for an optical user signal transmitted via an optical fiber by converting the transmitted optical user signal into a pulsed optical measurement signal, the pulse repetition rate of which is dependent on the power of the transmitted optical user signal, and evaluating the pulse repetition rate of the converted optical measurement signal in order to ascertain the power of the optical user signal transmitted via the optical fiber.
