英文摘要	PURPOSE:To secure the stable oscillation of the laser light at high and low levels by using a bias current source which drives a semiconductor laser up to a level near the oscillation threshold value, a low output component current source which produces information and a high output component current source which records the information to drive a semiconductor lader driver. CONSTITUTION:The average light intensity is equal to P1/2 in a reproduction mode by setting a switching duty ratio. A current I2 given from a high output component current source 3 is added to a current I1 given from a low output component current source 2 in a high output mode. Thus the output light intensity is equal to P2. This output light intensity is detected by a photodetector 9 in a reproduction mode of information, i.e., a low output mode. A comparator 11 compares the signal value of the detector 9 and the value of a reference voltage source 12 through a preamplifier 10. Then the comparison signal is transmitted through an LPF 13, and the output current value I1 of the source 2 is controlled by the low frequency component. As a result, the low output light intensity P1/2 is kept constant regardless of the temperature change. Thus the high output light intensity P2 is also kept at a fixed level as long as the intensity P1/2 is constant since the current value I2 of the source 3 is constant.
