英文摘要Excitation functions were measured for the formation of Re-181, Re-182m, Re-182g, Re-183, Re-184m, Re-184g and Re-186 in proton-induced reactions on natural tungsten in the energy range of 7.5-22.5 MeV. The excitation function for W-186(p,n)Re-186 reaction has been obtained with maximum cross section value of 41.6 +/- 6.2 mb at the proton energy of 9.2 MeV. Re-186 was produced from the reaction induced by 16 MeV protons on isotopically enriched W-186 metal powder target. Following the separation from W-187, Ta-183 and the bulk of target material W-186 through an acid alumina column, Re-186 was concentrated and purified by an anion exchange column, and finally the no-carrier-added Re-186 saline solution was achieved. The radionuclidic purity of Re-186 was > 99.2%. The experimental thick-target yield of Re-186 was determined to be approximately 50 mu Ci/mu Ah, in good agreement with that estimated from the excitation function.
