中文摘要The surface tension and its temperature coefficient were measured for Fe-P alloys by the sessile drop method, using a television measurement technique in the temperature range from liquidus to 1650-degrees-C. The investigation of the dynamic surface tension indicates that the alloy surface vapourization has a significant effect on the surface tension and results in a positive surface tension temperature coefficient in the range of low phosphorus concentration. From the analysis of the present results, it is concluded that, although phosphorus is not as strong a surface active element as sulphur and oxygen, a small addition of P can significantly lower the surface tension of liquid iron. The maximum adsorption concentration of phosphorus on the surface of the liquid Fe-P alloys calculated using the Gibbs isothermal adsorption equation is close to that determined by Auger surface analysis technique.
