中文摘要The creep rupture strength of a liquid metal cooling directionally solidified nickel-base superalloy was improved by an inexpensive and effective way-carbide strengthening. The higher cooling efficiency of liquid metal cooling process results in finer MC eutectic carbides. The discrete distributed MC carbides derived from the decomposition as well as the undecomposed MC eutectic carbides were the main contributors to the improvement of the creep rupture strength especially in the case of the high temperature and low stress.
