中文摘要	Based on the data from the fifth national sample survey of population census, the statistical yearbooks of kuerle and another 8 counties from 1998 to 2006, and many data about all the,towns in 2006, this article studies the correlation between the population of ethnic minorities and the urbanization with the help of the statistical software SPSS13.0. The following are the conclusions. Firstly, the contribution rate to the level of urbanization is proportional to the amount of the population of one ethnic minority. Secondly, the more dispersivity of population distribution of one ethnic minority has a higher level of urbanization. Thirdly, a town with the less Pm! dation proportion of ethnic minorities has a higher level of urbanization. Fourthly, the development of the tertiary industry strongly influences the urbanization level of the ethnic minorities' population. Therefore, the author gives three strategies of improving the urbanization level of the ethnic minorities' population. That is to enhance the introjections between the national culture and common culture in the ethnic regions to effectively improve the level of urbanization of the ethnic minorities, vigorously develop the industries with the ethnic characteristics in ethnic minority areas to improve the development level of tertiary industry and strengthen the population migration of ethnic nationalities to increase areas inhabited by many ethnic groups.
