Simultaneous Determination of Organotin Compounds in Marine Sediments by High Performance Liquid Chromatography-Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry

英文摘要A method based on high performance liquid chromatography coupled with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry ( HPLC-ICP-MS) for simultaneous determination of organotin complexes (dibutyitin (DBT), tributyitin (TBT), diphenyitin (DPhT) and triphenyitin (TPhT) in marine sediments was established. After evaluation of different additives in the mobile phase, the use of 0.05% (V/V) of triethylamine (TEA) in a mobile phase of acetonitrile-water-acetic acid (50:38: 12) allowed the best chromatographic separation of the four compounds. The analytes were extracted into an extractant (V(acetonitrile):V (water):V (acetic acid) =55:33:12) with 5% TEA by using an ultrasonic bath (30 min). The extracted efficiency of organotin compounds in PACS-2 certified reference material was found the highest (>91.5%) and its recoveries were over 96%. The detection limits for DBT, TBT, DPhT and TPhT were 0.7, 0.75, 0.45 and 0.4 mu g/kg, respectively. Four mixed organotin standards ranging from 0.5 to 100 mu g/kg were used for the method evaluation. The experimental results indicated that the regression coefficient for each compound was over 0.998. Organotin compounds in marine sediments and aquatic products were analyzed via the new established method. It was found that the dominate species in marine sediments were DBT and TBT, while TBT and TPhT were detected in aquatic products.
