英文摘要This paper analyzed the definitions water exchange time such as flushing time, turn-over time, mean residence time, half-life time, and marine bay water exchange time, as well as the calculating methods such as numerical model, barotropic tide dynamic model, water quality model, box model, particle tracing model, and biogeochemical model. Particularly, this paper analyzed the advantages and features of the biogeochemical model, which was simple yet based on reliable theories. Results showed that the calculated processes of biogeochemical model were more simple and reliable, and was able to obtain the range of the water exchange time, providing an effect tool for calculating of marine bay water exchange time.
