英文摘要	This paper presents all overview on advances and prospectives of continental dynamics with a special focus on the rheology of continental lithosphere., tectonics of the entire mantle beneath plates, modem continental deformation dynamics, continental deep-subduction dynamics, channel flow in the mid-lower crust, dynamics of composive orogenic bells, basin-range Coupling and continental accretion, mantle compositions and mantle tectonics, and global continental scientific drilling integration plans. It is concluded that the continental dynamics is a new departure following plate tectonics and it is critical necessary to establish a new theorical system of continental dynamics for satisfying the human needs for resources, energy, environmental protection, and prevention/antigation of earthquake harzards.
