英文摘要 | This paper describes a droplet-based microfluidic chip with pneumatic valves for measuring millisecond enzyme kinetics using amperometric method. Aqueous streams containing reactants were injected to an oil flow to form droplets, which represented micro-reactors. Pneumatic valves were used to control the flow distance and then the reaction time of droplets. Michaelis-Menten kinetics of catalase was measured by amperometric method with less than 50 ??L reagents. The time resolution was 0.05 s, and the reaction time measured was from 0.05 to 25 s. This microfluidic system is applicable to many biochemical reactions with one of the electrochemically active reactants or products. ? 2009 CBMS.; EI; 0 |
