英文摘要 | Titanium implants have been widely used clinically but post-operation infection remains one of the most common and serious complications. Therefore, there is growing potential in incorporating antibacterial agents into coatings on biomedical implants which boast long-term antibacterial ability. In this study, Ag nanoparticles have been coated on anodized TiO2 nanotubes through a simple dip-coating method in polydopamine solution. The TiO2-NTs loaded with Ag nanoparticles (NT-D-A) have the ability to inhibit bacterial adhesion on the surface for short time while gain a long term antibacterial effect.
