英文摘要 | In this paper, the finite element method of the hybrid of edge-element and node-element incorporated with vector Floquet Theorem is employed for calculating and analyzing the frequency response of the transmitting power of Photonic Band-Gap (PBG) consisting of gyrotropic medium. The method can be used for analysis of 2-D PBG consisting of discretionary anisotropic (including gyrotropic) medium and the computational complexity and required memories are reduced by exploiting the periodicity of PBG and Floquet Theorem. The correctness of the method is verified by the comparison of the calculated results with analytic values. Then the analysis of Gyrotropic Medium PBG is presented, which shows performance of the PBG devices can be adjusted by changing the biased magnetic field. ?2008 IEEE.; EI; 0 |
