英文摘要 | For multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication systems with q- QAM (q = 4, 16,??) modulation, sphere decoding is a valid algorithm which achieve the similar performance as ML detection in terms of bit error rate with relatively very low complexity. But the algorithm execution time fluctuates in a large range. This paper presents a new scheme to stabilize the fluctuation and thus solves the problem. In this approach, by making use of the average and minimum of the number of visited nodes, a proper complexity can be achieved, by which the sphere decoder obtains not only the low computational complexity but also a stable one. Simulation results indicate that the proposed doublethresholds algorithm slow down the fluctuation of SD detection efficiently, with only a small degradation in BER at high SNR. ? 2014 WIT Press.; EI; 0 |
