英文摘要	Sediment disasters are of great significance to human security. For effective prevention and control of the disasters, rapid assessment approaches are of primary importance. Considering that the existing approaches for sediment hazard assessment are less effective and are often restricted to local areas, a new approach for abrupt sediment hazard assessment is proposed. Through the key steps of the classification of reference groups, identification of test site matching groups and evaluation of blank test sites, the present approach are rapid, efficient and applicable to large regions, which could greatly improve the effectiveness of preventive measure and disaster mitigation procedures.; EI; 0; 4; 333-345; 12
