英文摘要 | Based on the analysis of the some basic principles for progressive transmission of vector spatial data, a multi-level model based on incremental details was proposed to enhance visualization and to reduce the transmission traffic. To establish this model, the constrained Delaunay triangulation (DT) was adopted to create safe sets, Douglas-Peucker (DP) algorithm was then used to get different resolution data, and the strip-tree was lastly introduced to store all levels of detail data incrementally.
