英文摘要Regional water resources management is one case of system engineering, which depends on accurate spatial and temporal information on water resources. Spatial information systems (SIS), integrating remote sensing (RS), global positioning system (GPS), and ground monitoring systems (GMS) as tools to collect spatial data, in combination with geographic information systems (GIS) for managing, analyzing and output of spatial data, has proved to be an efficient method for regional water resources management. The distribution of regional physical conditions and water resources can partially be obtained by RS. With a systematic analysis theory and SIS technology, models of regional water resources management can be set up. A programme of synthetic analysis for regional water resources can be carried out based on the GIS. The model parameters can be estimated from RS data and terrestrial information through GIS, GMS and GPS.; EI; 0; 242; 43-51
