英文摘要	This paper presents a framework within which the sustainability of agricultural systems can be assessed. The model recognizes biophysical, socio-political and techno-economic dimensions of agriculture and its sustainability, and distinguishes spatial scales, from the field to the globe, at which agricultural sustainability can be considered. Each theme implies a different emphasis and a distinct set of analytical questions.
