英文摘要More than 5000 high slopes have been excavated in the construction of Three Gorges Project. Among these slopes, about one third are to be stabilized. Meanwhile, various and complicated data have been generated in the process of field survey and check of excavated high slopes. In the construction of protection buildings, a variety of spatial and feature information also comes into being. How to effectively manage and utilize those data and support the excavated slope control plan becomes a vital issue for the local immigrants and the government. This paper proposes a GIS-based management system combining the advantage of the general information management system with the characteristics of the excavated high slopes. The platform of the data management is GIS, which provides attribute inquiry and statistical analysis according to the data's spatial distribution.
