A set of equations are developed for describing the spatial evolution inthe polar corona of anisotropic multi-ion-fluid properties based on theheating and acceleration by ion-cyclotron resonance. Numericalsolutions of this equation set are used to make a comparison with therecent observations by UVCS on SOHO (Kohl et al. 1998). If weassume that the spectrum of the cyclotron waves has a fixed slop, -2,the model results can describe the UVCS observations for Helium(assuming for protons also) and for either the bulk speed of O{+5ions or the effective perpendicular thermal speed of O+5 ionsrespectively if further assuming different amplitude of the waves. However wecan not describe both speeds with single wave amplitude. It is suggestedthat the fixed spectrum slope assumption, which is widely used in thestudy of this topic, may not describe the real situation in corona.;
