英文摘要	The kissing number and Hadwiger's covering number are two important and interesting numbers associated with a given convex body. They have been studied by many well-known mathematicians for decades. However, our knowledge about them is still very limited. The blocking number is a relatively new concept in Convex and Discrete Geometry. However, besides its own interest, it serves as a bridge between the kissing number and the covering number. This paper will review the basic problems and the main known results about these three numbers with an emphasis on their connections.
