英文摘要The degenerate reaction-diffusion system: ut = ???w-??(v)u-fu, vt = fu-hv, wt = ??v-??w+dwxx+p(t), where ??(v) = a(v-b)2+c with positive a,b,c, is considered. As a simple mathematical model of a mono-species forest with two age classes which takes account of seed production and dispersal, where u denotes the density of a `young' tree, v denotes the density of an `old' tree, w denotes the density of airborne seeds, ??, ??, ?? and d are seed production, deposition, establishment and diffusion rates, respectively.
